All high-density fiberboards (HDF) off the production line will be turned over for cooling and undergo 24 to 48 hours of conditioning. We keep the substrate temperature strictly within 25℃ – 40℃ before starting the veneering process.
Our Technical Director states: Veneering at a temperature above 40℃ will cause the adhesive layer to fail quickly and make PVC veneers deform from heat, which will eventually result in blistering. Controlling the board temperature below 40℃ enables full and even penetration of adhesive, creating perfectly smooth veneer surfaces. It also maximizes the board’s screw holding power and service life.
